Boeing-owned software company Narus, Inc. has announced that Technology Marketing Corporation has named NarusInsight a recipient of the 2011 NGN Leadership Award presented by its publication, NGN Magazine.
NarusInsight provides the network traffic intelligence and analytics software needed to analyze information on IP traffic and flow data, and then map the digital DNA (or behavior) of the network in real time. The system is used by major IP networks around the world and deployed with commercial and government installations across five continents. The software detects patterns and anomalies that can predict and identify cybersecurity issues, misuse of network resources, or suspicious or criminal activity.
“Our customers rely on the NarusInsight traffic intelligence system to provide them with the total network view, and the ability to take necessary mitigation steps early to secure their networks against cyber attacks,” said Greg Oslan, Narus CEO. “With this honor, NGN Magazine clearly recognizes the value in our technology. We’re thrilled to accept this prestigious award for the second year in a row.”
Recognized in the Network Technology category, NarusInsight has proven it is exceptional and its innovation has contributed to the transformation of the industry, said Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC.
“Congratulations to the entire team at Narus, and I look forward to more innovation in the coming year,” he added.
The 2011 NGN Leadership Award winners can be found in the May 2011 issue of NGN magazine.
