SAIC Wins Spot on DISA's $90 Million ENCORE II ID/IQ - top government contractors - best government contracting eventScience Applications International Corporation has won a task order by the Defense Information Systems Agency to provide technical and operations support to the Defense Enterprise Computing Center in Montgomery, Ala.

Awarded under the DISA ENCORE II indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, the task order carries a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options and a total value of more than $90 million, if all options are exercised.

Under the task order, SAIC will help sustain the production, development and testing of DISA systems in the agency’s  IT environment, which supports 1,250,000 users globally. SAIC will also provide services in areas such as service operations; technical support; information assurance; facilities; and support for the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application.

Glenn San Giacomo, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager, said the company has been working with DISA for 17 years, and is pleased to further its relationship by providing quality computing support to DECC Montgomery.

“We look forward to applying our IT service management framework expertise, and helping meet DECC’s technology and customer requirements,” he added.
