IT solutions provider ATS Corporation (NYSE Amex: ATSC) has won an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a $30 million ceiling over a multiple-year term from the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.
The contract represents the continuation of the ATSC’s software development, maintenance and operational services to PBGC’s Office of Information Technology in maintaining the Benefit Management Applications suite, which manages beneficiary information and disbursement of pension benefit payments exceeding $440 million each month to more than 750,000 people, ATSC said.
While ATSC has several active contracts with PBGC, this recent award is the largest effort, said Pamela Little, ATSC co-chief executive officer and chief financial officer.
“Furthermore, this award represents one of the last back-to-back key recompete and follow-on contracts for us, which has secured much of our business for the next few years and significantly added to our backlog,” she said.
