Boeing has announced its Special Operations Forces have been honored by the U.S. Air Force for outstanding support to the Air Force Technical Order community. The firm is being recognized for the contributions of the Fort Walton Beach Team for converting technical data from a printed format to an interactive electronic format.
“The C-130 IETM provides our customer with more accurate, up-to-date, user friendly technical data that will improve productivity and lower costs while enhancing the safety of both maintainers and operators,“ said Ken Hill, Boeing special operations forces program director.
The Special Operations Forces program services and products include hardware and software modifications repair of aircraft and weapon system items. The program is a member of the C-130 Integrated Maintenance Information System Interactive Electronic Technical Manual Team.
