Citizant has announced it has been given a quality rating from the Software Engineering Institute for Capability Maturity Model Integration. The firm received CMMI appraisal for both IT services and application development under SCAMPI guidelines.
“The heat is on for government executives to produce program results under tight budgets and timelines, and they know that contractors with strong CMMI credentials are more likely to produce the desired outcomes,“ said Jeffrey Beyer, senior vice president of operations at Citizant.
Citizant went through a standard CMMI appraisal method for process improvement Class A appraisal under SCAMPI guidelines. It was the first to use SCAMPI for a multimodel appraisal, joining only a handful of government service providers offering both CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVC within the same business unit.
