He has more than 27 years of experience working in the sectors of global aerospace, defense, high-tech, automotive, medical and management consulting firms. Bloom has worked in the government-contracting industry with firms such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and General Dynamics.
Bloom got his start in the U.S. Navy, serving six and a half years, and is a retired naval reserve officer. He earned an MBA from Marymount University and a bachelor“™s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
