Integrity Applications Incorporated Honored for Commitment to Veteran Employees

Integrity Applications Incorporated, an engineering and software services company based in Chantilly, Va., has been named one of 15 recipients of the 2011 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Defense Department agency. The award is the highest recognition given by DoD that is bestowed upon employers who demonstrate outstanding support of their employees serving in the Guard and Reserve.

Freedom Award recipients go above and beyond support that is required by law, offering formal and informal initiatives that include providing the difference between military and civilian salaries during deployments, continuing full benefits and providing personal support to the families of employees called to service. With nearly half of all IAI employees having served in the military, the award is an honor that hits close to home.

“IAI is honored to accept this award on behalf of our employees who choose to participate in the National Guard and Reserve,” IAI CEO Joe Brickey said. “As a veteran-owned business, we are acutely aware of the commitment, dedication and sacrifice of those who serve.”

The 15 recipients will be honored at the 16th annual Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award Ceremony in Washington, D.C., Sept. 22, 2011.
