L-3 Communications has announced the promotion of Gen. Richard A. Cody to corporate senior vice president. Cody will lead the firm“™s Washington operations organization and he will report to Michael T. Strianese, president and chief executive officer of the company.
The general has been with L-3 Communications since 2008 after serving as the 31st vice chief of staff to the U.S. Army from 2004 to 2008. He retired from the Army in 2008 after 36 years of service and has led L-3 Communication“™s Washington operations since 2010.
Cody is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy and has more than 5,000 hours of flight time. He is a board member of multiple organizations, including the Army Aviation Association of America, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, and the National Chairman for Homes for Our Troops.
