Held Aug. 23-25 in Tampa, Fla., the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association’s LandWarNet Conference 2011 will focus on “Transforming Cyber While at War” and feature speakers, panel sessions, information exchange forums and exhibits.
AFCEA today announced some of the confirmed speakers, which include industry executives as well as government officials. From the public sector, Lt. Gen. Susan S. Lawrence, chief information officer/G-6 of the U.S. Army, DISA Director Lt. Gen. Carroll F. Pollett and Teri Takai, Defense Department CIO, will speak. Representing the industry side will be John T. Chambers, chairman and CEO of Cisco.
The program will include track sessions such as C4ISR Materiel Enterprise: Transforming Cyber Capabilities, Transforming Cyber While at War…We Can’t Afford Not To, See, Know, Do: Network Visibility, Control and Protection, and The Power to Connect.
In addition, the Technology Showcase will feature hundreds of defense and IT exhibitors including Fortune 500, small business, and local companies, as well as military/government exhibitors. Technologies and solutions that will be demonstrated include NetOps capabilities, secure solutions, satellite systems, network integration and wireless technology.
