Lockheed Martin's BlackCloud Slashes Risk, Cost for Private Clouds - top government contractors - best government contracting eventLockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) today announced BlackCloud, a secure turnkey private cloud solution for federal agencies designed to cut risk while addressing compliance and mission requirements.

BlackCloud incorporates Lockheed Martin’s architecture with solutions from Cyber Security Alliance partners Cisco, NetApp, and VMware to offer secure multitenancy in the data center.

With built-in security features that provide self-provisioning, compliance and management of the cloud environment, subscribers will be able to use applications faster in a pre-integrated, trusted environment.

BlackCloud can also support thousands of tenants while providing secure end-to-end segmentation of customer computing environments, from virtualization to server to network and storage environments.
