Raytheon IDS has awarded LGS Innovations of Virginia its Supplier Excellence Award for LGS' Ethernet/LAN switching and routing products and services.
Raytheon uses LGS' OmniSwitch products to support critical U.S. Navy shipboard networks. The firm said the award was presented in appreciation of the company's on-time delivery measures, sustained performance on quality and commitment to continuous process and quality improvement.
“We are proud to be recognized by Raytheon IDS for our contributions to the U.S. Navy Mission Success,“ said Ronald Iverson, chief executive officer of LGS Innovations.
The criteria for Raytheon's Supplier Excellence Award includes one year of activity with a minimum performance of 97 percent quality and delivery as measured by the Supplier Rating System and have an acceptable Quality Management System.
