Camber Corporation has hired retired Army Lt. Gen. David H. Ohle to serve as executive vice president for Corporate Strategy and Business Development. His new position, announced Tuesday, will place him in charge of the company’s growth as well as management of all corporate activities that support its growth: strategy, business development, proposal development and marketing and communications.
LTG(R) Ohle brings more than forty years of experience in defense and business to Camber, having held positions with Shell Oil Company and Computer Sciences Corporation in addition to his latest stint as a sector senior vice president and manager of the Alion Science and Technology Corporation. He also possesses extensive military experience that includes 2 tours in Vietnam and various command and staff positions with the 101st Airborne, 82d Airborne, and 25th Infantry Divisions.
“Camber Corporation’s tremendous growth rests with its entrepreneurial spirit and our penchant for tailoring and applying our best technical skills and tools to our customers’ most pressing problems,” said Walter Batson, Camber CEO. “Dave Ohle will play a key role in scaling our company-wide strategic infrastructure to sustain that growth without compromising the spirit fundamental to our success. We are thrilled that he has decided to join our team.”
A graduate of the US Military Academy, Ohle has received service awards including the Silver Star and Bronze Star with “V” device.
