Honeywell Promotes Mike Lang to New VP and CIO

Honeywell today announced Mike Lang as the company’s new vice president and chief information officer. Prior to this position, Lang served as vice president and chief information officer for Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions business.

“Mike’s 20 years of experience in IT leadership and extensive knowledge of systems integration following 20 acquisitions over the past four years in our ACS business gives him a unique perspective for this role,” said David Cote, Honeywell’s chairman and chief executive officer.

Lang will responsible for deploying new technology, increasing productivity and improving the effectiveness of Honeywell’s IT. Before serving at Honeywell, Lang held leadership positions at General Electric and served as its chief technology in the insurance solutions unit.
