Capgemini Donates $50,000 to American Red Cross for Joplin Tornado Victims

Capgemini has recently made an $50,000 donation to the Greater Ozarks Chapter of the American Red Cross. The donation will help with the recovery efforts in Joplin, MO and its neighboring communities. The recent tornado that ripped through and devastated Joplin, hits home for the firm as it has 150 of its employees living in Missouri.

“We care about the well-being of all our friends and colleagues in Missouri, and know that as the nation's premier emergency response organization, the American Red Cross will be by their side throughout the recovery process,“ said Lanny Cohen, chief executive officer of Capgemini U.S. LLC.

The Red Cross has been providing disaster recovery assistance to the community through a localized Resource Center. The center will provide health services, mental health assistance, and recovery case management to the community.
