Capgemini has completed its acquisition of french multi-channel services operator Prosodie. The deal is worth $550.6 million and, according to the Wall Street Journal, is Capgemini's fourth deal this year as the firm is working to expand its presence in Europe.
“This acquisition represents a new step in our solutions development strategy and enables us to complete the Group's portfolio while increasing our added value,“ said Paul Hermelin, Capgemini vice president and chief executive officer.“
Prosodie will form part of Capgemini's New Business Model Service line, which aims to develop services based on proprietary solutions invoiced on a pay-as-you-go system. Prosodie will cover all aspects of the multi-channel client relationship and prepayment, as well as highly secure and and 24/7 payment and hosting services.
