CGI Group Inc. Wins Contract Award for RAC Program

CGI Group Inc. today received a contract award for Medicaid Recovery Audit Contractor program services for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The RAC program supports the department’s identification, correction and prevention of improper Medicaid payments.

“CGI is excited to build on our long-standing relationship with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services,” said Nola Haug, vice president of CGI’s State of Ohio account. “We look forward to partnering with the state to maximize its Medicaid recoveries and to protect the system from errors and fraud.”

The terms of the contract require CGI to help ODJFS recover state and taxpayer dollars, protect the integrity of the program and comply with federal healthcare legislation. The firm will use its Customized Audit System to predict, identify, manage and analyze medical and pharmacy claims.
