ASI Government has hired Jacqueline “Jackie” Owens Lancaster to join the public sector consulting firm as its new chief business development officer, the company announced yesterday.
Lancaster will be responsible for expanding ASI's influence throughout the federal government, expanding existing relationships and building new ones to offer solutions to help agencies use taxpayer dollars most efficiently.
“I am excited to join the company that literally wrote the book on performance-based management for the public sector,“ Lancaster said. “ASI continues to lead the way in innovative thinking and solutions to ensure government programs yield the best results for the best value, and I’m thrilled to be in a position to continue and grow that tradition. I look forward to using my experience, relationships and insight to bolster ASI’s delivery of mission-enabling solutions for federal agencies.“
Lancaster brings nearly 20 years of experience in government business development leadership to her new position, having joined ASI from BAE Systems' Defense Intelligence Solutions Group. With BAE, she served as director of the Business Winning Team and, previously, as senior director for business development at BAE Systems Information Technology’s Defense Solutions Group. Her work with BAE focused on the intelligence arms of the Army, Navy and Air Force, with specific attention given to the Defense Intelligence Agency and Office of Naval Intelligence.
Lancaster is an active member of TechAmerica and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association as well as the editor of “Using Architectures for Research, Development, and Acquisition,” a book outlining how architectures have collaborated with Defense Department families of systems that must interoperate with each other to conduct military operations.
