Parsons Wins Contract with USAID to Expand Rural Roads in Rwanda; Group President Todd Wager Comments

Parsons has recently been awarded a contract with the United States Agency for International Development to expand rural roads in Rwanda. The expansion will help the country's economy by supporting regional trade and giving farmers an improved transportation system as well as access to markets for their crops.

“Parsons has worked in Africa for close to 50 years and has supported USAID projects in Africa with design, engineering, and construction services to improve lives by delivering clean water, reliable power and improved transportation,“ said Todd Wager, Parsons Group president.

The contract requires Parsons to provide a roads inventory and conditions assessments, prioritization, planning, preparation of technical designs, procurement support, and construction supervision for 1,000 kms of improved roads.
