Serco has announced today it has won a task order from the U.S. Army to provide professional management services. The contract, worth a total ceiling value of $9 million, requires the firm to also provide financial management service to soldiers at U.S. Army Defense Military Pay Offices nationwide.

Serco's work also includes a full cycle of records management, financial in-processing and out-processing, verification, transactions and customer support. The firm will also provide counseling, and other services to the wounded warrior programs.

The company has worked with the Army since 1991 under this HRsolutions Personnel Services and Support contract. This deal will increase Serco's number of managed locations from two to 10. It will also expand the work the firm has done for the Army Defense Military Pay Offices.
