Unisys has recently announced its awards related to its government clients including the General Services Administration, Los Angeles County and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The GCN Awards honor federal, state and local government agencies for their IT accomplishments and other contributions to the performance of their agencies.

GSA received an award for its Enterprise Email and Collaboration project. The agency worked with Unisys to migrate its 17,000 email users to Google Apps for Government. The Agriculture Department was honored for its Agriculture Security Operations Center Senor Array.

Unisys also won for its work on the Los Angeles County “Your Benefits Now!“ online application website. The site allows LA County residents to securely apply health and human services assistance from any Internet connected devices anytime and anywhere.

Unisys Federal Systems President Ted Davies congratulated GSA, USDA and Los Angeles County on the award wins. “All of these projects demonstrates Unisys commitment to helping federal, state and local government agencies become more efficient and responsive to their constituents,“ he said.
