Verizon is to hold a webinar this Thursday (Aug. 25) entitled “Strengthen Your Security Infrastructure with Universal Identify Services,” discussing the continued need for strong second-factor authentication and available options.
According to the Verizon “2011 Data Breach Investigation Report,” authentication and credential exploits are responsible for almost half of data breaches involving hacking.
With an increase of second-factor authentication use, hackers are adapting and targeting weak instances of this authentication form.
Tracy Hulver, director of products and marking and identity solutions, will be leader of the webinar discussing the use of two-factor authentication and its ability to strengthen an enterprise’s infastructure creating a more secure means to authenticate users on a corporate network.
Participants will learn how enterprise identity services assist in reducing authentication risks and provide cost control abilities in association with identity management. The speaker will address security risks associated with identity tokens and how defense from those risks can be improved.
