Autodesk, the world's largest design and engineering software provider, has released a cloud service for its sector professionals.
The company’s cloud features include rendering, optimization, energy analysis and 3GB of storage capacity. The features will be available to people without Autodesk software, enabling widespread collaboration.
Intuitive simulation and visualization software will further provide multiple design options, the company said.
The company received help from Amazon to make its cloud services more flexible, scalable and hold more flexible storage capacity. Autodesk also worked with Citrix to enable its customers to decrease workstation costs via Citrix’s XenApp.
