BAE Systems Wins $9 Million US Army TACOM Contract

BAE Systems has today received a $9 million contract award from the U.S. Army TACOM to produce and deliver nine second generation International Light Armored Vehicles. The terms of the contract require BAE Systems to provide six ILAV Explosive Ordnance Disposal variants and three ILAV Interrogator Arm variants.

The firm will also provide repair parts for the fleet of Interrogator Arm variants. More than 700 ILAV have been produced and delivered to U.S. foreign allies. The ILAV has five variants including the ILAV base vehicle, Interrogator Arm, Explosive Ordinance Disposal, Joint Surrogate and MRAP training.
