CIBER Inc. has appointed Rick Genovese as its new executive vice president of the firm's North American operations. He will be responsible for sales, strategy, solutions, client relationships, delivery and full profit, and loss performance.
Genovese comes from IBM where he served as general manager of Application Services for the Americas. He also serves as general manager for IBM's Business Process Outsourcing practice for the Americas.
“Rick has proven his mettle in professional business and IT services, serving in operational leadership roles at two of the powerhouse brands in the industry,“ said Dave Peterschmidt, CIBER's chief executive officer.
Prior to serving at IBM, Genovese worked as PWC's managing partner of Business Process Outsourcing for the Americas as well as managing partner for the Global Energy Consulting Practice. The firm had been acquired by IBM in 2002.
