CSC’s new delivery options for Exceed Billing have arrived assisting in cutting implementation and operational costs, expanding billing channels, increasing payment options and consolidating billing across multiple market segments.
According to Chad Hersh, a partner in Novarica's insurance practice, “interest in SaaS from all sizes and types of carriers has grown rapidly, and commoditized, labor-intensive tasks such as billing and collections management are ideally suited for this deployment option.“
The Java version is now available as a software as a service accelerating implementation in client data centers in a private cloud or on a physical or virtualized stack.
“CSC has both the insurance industry expertise and proven technical know-how to provide the functionality, scalability and operational support critical to successful cloud and SaaS offerings,“ said Jeffery Schwalk, president of CSC's Property and Casualty Insurance Division. “Exceed Billing software offered in the cloud or as a service is a reliable, cost-effective alternative to an on premises deployment or managed services offering, enabling powerful customer service delivery through an insurer's most frequent touch point with customers.“
CSC will debut the new cloud and SaaS options for Exceed Billing during its Connect for Property and Casualty users conference, beginning on Sept. 18 in Nashville, Tenn. Exceed Billing is an open, service-oriented architecture including self-service capabilities so that users can configure the software without IT involvement.
