
Marcus Collier is a senior vice president of General Dynamics“™ IT business unit“™s civilian and homeland security solutions division.
Collier joined the company, known then as Anteon Corporation, in 1997 as a department manager supporting the Aegis Destroyer program.
He has since served in several management positions, and GDIT says he was instrumental in expanding the company“™s presence into other shipbuilding programs.
The company further stresses his important role in securing training and IT contracts with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Army reserves.
Collier has held engineering and management positions at Washington, D.C. professional services firm PRC, where he served as the program management core competency director.
In that role, he assessed overall corporate efficiency, identified industry best practices and brought them into the corporation through comprehensive training programs and internal process improvement.
Collier received an MBA in international finance from George Washington University and holds a bachelor“™s degree in naval architecture and marine engineering from the University of Michigan.
