GTSI Named to Washington Business Journal’s Top Healthy Employers List

GTSI has been named one of Washington Business Journal’s Top 40 Healthiest Employers.

The Herndon, Va.-based company was honored for workplace policies and initiatives that actively promote the health and well-being of its employees.

GTSI won first place in the size category of 100-499 employees.

“As an organization we are deeply committed to improving the health of our employees, and toward that end we’ve designed a comprehensive program that makes wellness a big part of our corporate culture,” said Bridget Atkinson, GTSI’s vice president of human resources and organizational development.

Companies were selected based on results of a survey conducted by Healthiest Employers and developed by a committee including representatives from the health care, wellness, academic and business communities.
