Intel and Google to Optimize Android for Intel's Atom - top government contractors - best government contracting eventIntel Corporation and Google Inc. will work to enable and optimize future versions of Android for Intel’s lower power Atom processors allowing future versions of Android to support Intel technology.

This joint effort should speed time-to-market of Intel technology for Android smartphones and enable mobile device OEMs and wireless operators to draw upon the performance capabilities of Intel architecture.
