L-3 Wins $82 Million Contract from Navy for C4 Engineering

The U.S. Navy has awarded L-3 Services a potential $82 million indefinite delivery and quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for engineering and technical support services for command, control, communications and computer exercise planning.

Under the contract, L-3 will provide integration, systems integration, operational systems, training, logistics, software engineering, quality assurance and life-cycle sustainment management support.

L-3 will perform work in Fayetteville, N.C., Charleston, S.C. as well as locations outside the U.S. with an expected completion date of Sept. 2012. Work could continue through Sept. 2016 if all options are exercised.

Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.
