MarkLogic Hosts Webcast Exploring the Big Data Reality: Ken Bado Comments - top government contractors - best government contracting eventMarkLogic will host a webcast examining the nature and scope of the unstructured data challenge titled, “Big Data 2.0: The Post-Relational Reality Sets In.”

Big data is increasingly seeping into every enterprise and stretching organization’s ability to manage and store information. Tom Wilson, president, Unisphere Research and Edd Patterson, vice president of technical solutions, MarkLogic, will address this issue and help attendees find solutions.

“Our research shows that most IT managers are facing significant challenges with unstructured information and Big Data,” said Wilson. “The competitive and operational advantages these vast and rapidly growing data stores represent are not yet widely understood or enabled. Companies must learn how to use their unstructured data for better decision making and competitive advantage.”

The webcast, to be held on Sept. 8, will examine the unstructured data predicament and learn how to identify and begin leveraging big data within their organizations.

“Unstructured data is a major driving factor in the Big Data movement,” said Ken Bado, president and CEO, MarkLogic Corporation. “This trend is changing the way organizations approach the management of data. It’s also resulting in a new set of technologies, such as MarkLogic, and business processes that address the challenges and opportunities unstructured information presents.”
