NetApp has recently invited higher-education and K-12 organizations to apply for its Education Donation Program. The program gives not for-profit schools the opportunity to receive a new NetApp FAS3100 storage system.

The donation includes a one-year four-hour warranty, a one-year software subscription service, three-year-next-business-day hardware warranty support, and one year of standard software support.

The program enables NetApp to partner with schools across the U.S. to help maximize their IT infrastructure and deliver on their educational objectives. It will provide 1,800 individual hardware donations through the end of this year or until donations run out.

“We are thrilled to be able to extend this donation program to higher-education and K-12 institutions around the country and we look forward to helping them get the most out of their IT infrastructures,“ said Regina Kunkle, NetApp's vice president of state and local government and higher education.
