Salient Wins Air Force WRAP Contract to Provide Cybersecurity

Salient Federal Solutions was awarded a multi-year prime contract to impletement Assure6 product suite into the U.S. Air Force information technology systems.

Salient’s Assure6 cybersecurity policy manager is built to detect and block malicious IPv6 attacks. It will assist the Air Force Networks in defense from costly cyber attacks generated by the requirements of legacy networks and devices to support the future IPv6 standard.

“We look forward to partnering with the Air Force to meet the U.S. Government’s goal of securely implementing Internet Protocol version 6 by 2014,” said Salient’s cybersecurity leader Lisa Donnan. “Our Assure6 intrusion prevention system will help mitigate the vulnerabilities of implementing IPv6 and ultimately protect mission critical networks.”

The DISA ENCORE II contract award was made as part of the Warfighter Rapid Acquisition Program
