Deborah Werner is the vice president of business development for BAE Systems Inc.’s intelligence sector. Werner is responsible for customer account development for federal intelligence, defense and civilian agency customers.
Werner joined BAE Systems in 2006 as vice president of business development. Prior to joining the company, Werner held senior business development positions at various technology organizations including CSC, Northrop Grumman, DynCorp and SAIC.
Werner has more than 25 years of experience in the information systems field serving in operations management, program management and systems development and consulting leadership roles. Her responsibilities have varied including developing Pentagon readiness and logistics, force planning, decision support and enterprise information technology systems.
Currently, Werner serves on the board of the Professional Services Council and formerly served on the board of the Armed Forces, Communications and Electronics Organization. She holds degrees in economics and business and a masters in technology management/operations research.
