ICF to Work with HHS to Improve Environment, Reduce Health Disparities

ICF International will work with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to reduce the spread of chronic diseases and the disparities in health between American citizens.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has a community transformation grant program that ICF will support with technical training for grantees.

This support will affect programs, policies, and infrastructures to promote environmental change. ICF will receive up to $70 million over one base year and six option years for the work.

“We are also pleased to be able to continue our longstanding relationship with the CDC and to support its goals of saving lives and protecting people,” said Jeanne Townend, executive vice president of health, education and social programs at ICF.
