Sabre Systems was recently awarded its first prime delivery order under the Professional Engineering Service GSA schedule with the Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate of the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center at Aberdeen, Md.
“This award is a result of the responsive, quality support our dedicated workforce has provided to the Army at Fort Monmouth and now continuing at Aberdeen Proving Grounds,” said Fred Kuster, Sabre’s NE Region group vice president.
“Sabre has become recognized as a go-to company by the Army,” he added. “We are hoping this is the first of many such contracts in support of the Army at Aberdeen.”
The terms of the contract require Sabre to assist S&TCD with implementing the Capability Maturity Model Integration Maturity Level 3, implementing a workforce development program to aid in the reconstitution of the government technical workforce, and providing technical subject matter expertise and programmatic support to communications programs.
