SAIC Inc is set to double its workforce in Utah, the Washington Business Journal reports.
There are currently 136 SAIC employees at nine locations in the state of Utah. The new jobs will be integrated into the company’s existing operations, according to an announcement released by the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
“From engineering, science and math, to languages, social sciences and business, Utah has it all in remarkable numbers,” said Larry Cox, senior vice president and general manager of SAIC's cyber and information solutions business unit. “Many parts of the country have exhausted local talent. In Utah, we have just begun.“
This announcement comes just one day following SAIC’s disclosure of an $11 million award to support the design-building services for the HollyFrontier Corporation.
