HP has announced that three universities have chosen its converged infrastructure solutions to improve educational programs and better manage the growing amount of online information consumed by both faculty and students.
“To deliver a student experience that will attract the best and the brightest, universities find they need to offer the most advanced infrastructure and connectivity,” said Larry Singer, vice president of state and local government, education and public health at HP. “HP converged infrastructure allows universities to expand network bandwidth, increase flexibility and improve reliability.”
The universities are using HP solutions in order to better meet data bandwidth demands and better serve their growing technology-savvy populations. Solutions that have been leveraged include HP’s switch series, HP BladeSystem, HP storage and HP intelligent management center.
