Herley Industries, Inc., a subsidiary of Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, Inc. has been awarded a $2.4 million contract for international missile defense support.
Herley will be responsible for providing integrated microwave assemblies to an “international defense customer,“ which it says will be used in critical missile defense efforts.
Kratos declined to provide the name of the customer and specific nature of the contract due to customer and other “sensitivities.“
“This work will be performed in our Israel operation,“ said Richard F. Poirier, president of Herley. “We are extremely pleased to see the continued growth and utilization of Herley technology and components in systems used by both the U.S. military and by our international allies.“
