Lockheed Martin has awarded 25 employees based in Camden, Ark. with the NOVA Award, the company’s highest recognition for individual and team achievement.
The Patriot Advanced Capability-3 Missile All Up Round II team based in Camden was selected for a team NOVA award for its support of the new PAC-3 production facility. The team collaborated with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and the city of Camden through the Ouachita Partnership for Economic Development.
“The 2011 NOVA recipients exemplify the can-do spirit and uncompromising integrity our customers expect from us – and deserve,“ said Lockheed Chairman and CEO Bob Stevens. “For that, we owe our NOVA honorees our gratitude. Those honored represent the “˜best of the best' of our outstanding workforce.“
The team received the award Oct. 28 during a ceremony at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington.
