Lockheed Honors Arkansas Employees With NOVA Award

Lockheed Martin has awarded 25 employees based in Camden, Ark. with the NOVA Award, the company’s highest recognition for individual and team achievement.

The Patriot Advanced Capability-3 Missile All Up Round II team based in Camden was selected for a team NOVA award for its support of the new PAC-3 production facility. The team collaborated with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and the city of Camden through the Ouachita Partnership for Economic Development.

“The 2011 NOVA recipients exemplify the can-do spirit and uncompromising integrity our customers expect from us – and deserve,” said Lockheed Chairman and CEO Bob Stevens. “For that, we owe our NOVA honorees our gratitude. Those honored represent the ‘best of the best’ of our outstanding workforce.”

The team received the award Oct. 28 during a ceremony at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington.
