Lockheed Looks to Expand UAE Business with Networking Workshop

Lockheed Martin and the United Arab Emirates’ Offset Program Bureau hosted a workshop Monday in Abu Dhabi for more than 30 UAE aerospace and defense companies to build relationships between Lockheed and local industry.

At the event, Lockheed briefed attendees on the company’s business structure and products. The workshop included sessions where local business leaders met Lockheed representatives and discussed areas for future collaboration.

The workshop is the first in a series of planned events designed to increase regional business opportunities.

“Through this workshop series, we hope to build a closer relationship with local industry, academia and the community,” said Susan Maraghy, Lockheed’s vice president of civil and industry participation. “This workshop series is just the start to a long-term partnership, opening the door to future collaboration projects.”
