Raytheon has today been named one of FORTUNE magazine‘s Top Companies for Leaders, ranking 18th out of 470 companies surveyed in North America. The criteria was based on strength and depth of leadership practices, culture, business performance and company reputation.

The company utilizes a number of formal programs and practices to identify and grow its leaders. It also employs in-depth succession planning and other human resources strategies that support key business drivers.

“Receiving this great recognition underscores our commitment to developing a strong leadership pipeline to ensure the success of our company and our customers,” said William H. Swanson, Raytheon chairman and CEO.
