Unisys' Private Cloud Makes its Debut with Enhanced Security, Mobility Support - top government contractors - best government contracting eventUnisys Corp.’s second version of its private cloud solution has made its debut with enhancements to the core software stack, featuring expanded management security and infrastructure automation capabilities.

Unisys aims for its enhanced cloud service to simplify managing integrated IT environments and make preserving existing technology investments easy. 

The solution is part of Unisys’ hybrid enterprise strategy and includes built in mission-critical attributes such as security, automation and support for mobility.

The company estimates using this cloud structure could yield savings of up to $6 million over five years.

“Unisys secure private cloud solution enables clients to transform data center operations into a flexible self-service environment to manage an entire IT infrastructure comprising both cloud and non-cloud resources,” said Rod Sapp, vice president of data center transformation and outsourcing products and technology for  Unisys. “We developed this solution with the enterprise requirements of clients such as our ClearPath users in mind.”
