General Dynamics to Deliver DURO Vehicles for Swiss Army

The Swiss army has awarded General Dynamics‘ European land systems business unit a contract to deliver 70 DURO Armoured Personnel Carriers.

Under a program established in 2008, General Dynamics has already delivered DURO GMTF vehicles to the Swiss army. A company release says the deliveries were approved in 2010 by the Swiss parliament and they will take place in the fall of 2013.

The vehicles will be manufactured at General Dynamics’ facility in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland.
