DMI has won a contract to operate the Grants.gov system for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the company announced today. The contract calls for DMI provide ongoing operation, hosting and maintenance services for the system.
DMI said it will also test and apply public cloud, analytics, social media and mobile technologies to the portal. The company will pilot new applications for the site at its innovation center in Washington.
The portal is used to apply for federal grants, which DMI said creates a quicker and more cost-effective government transaction process. The site is responsible for processing more than 5,000 grant applications weekly.
