Oceus Networks has today named Randy Fuerst as its new chief operating officer. Fuerst’s responsibilities include overseeing core operational elements, including delivery operations, engineering, product development, professional services, marketing and sales and business development.
“The addition of Randy as Chief Operating Officer will enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Oceus Networks’ operational performance,” said Douglas C. Smith, president and CEO of Oceus Networks. “His expertise in the C4ISR domain and with network services broadens our management capability and is a valuable addition to our management team.”
Prior to his current position, Fuerst served as COO of CACI. He was responsible for the growth of the firm’s business groups. The groups he managed provided systems integration, managed network services, intelligence solutions and engineering and logistics to the Defense Department, national intelligence community, federal civilian agencies and state and local governments.
