Parsons Announces New Leadership and Business Units

Parsons recently announced it has established a regional business unit named Parsons AustralAsia and appointed the current president of Parson’s commerical technology group to head it.

Walsh will be responsible for meeting growth goals in the region and will report to the Chairman and CEO Chuck Harrington.

“AustralAsia has tremendous need and growth potential, and Mike’s wealth of experience will aid us in expanding our operations in the region,” said Harrington.

The firm also announced that it will combine two of its global business units to form Parsons Environment & Infrastructure. Come Jan. 1, 2012, Parsons Water & Infrastructure Inc. will be combined into PE&I. Virginia L. Grebbien, president of PWI, will be appointed President of PE&I.

“The establishment of PE&I creates a world-class environmental, water, and sustainable energy infrastructure group, and under Virginia’s leadership PE&I will continue our tradition of solving our municipal and private sector customers’ toughest challenges,” said Harrington.
