Parsons has won a five-year contract with the Public Works Authority of Qatar to provide engineering services on multiple projects.
The company said it will be responsible for providing services for data collection, investigation, coordination, planning, design, construction supervision and procurement and post-contract surveying.
Work is to be performed in Doha South, Qatar on 12,000 acres. Parsons will provider services for multiple projects that include new subdivision roads and drainage networks and update existing subdivisions.
“Our first project in Qatar started in 1961 when we performed a groundwater study, and we look forward to continuing to work with Ashghal,“ said Guy Mehula, Parsons MENA+ president.
In addition, the company will handle permits for road opening and build as well as other technical services.
