Serco Inc. has won a task order with a ceiling value of $13.5 million to help the U.S. Air Force acquire and support weapon systems for special operations forces, the company has announced.
The company will provide engineering, acquisition, financial and logistics management to the special operations forces, Aeronautical Systems Center and personnel recovery division.
The task order was awarded under the logistics, maintenance and supply support indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle. Work on the task order could last 25 months over a seven-month base period and two option periods.
Serco said it has supported aeronautical systems programs at Wright-Patterson Air Force base since 1997.
