ARINC Forms New Defense Aircraft Modification Subsidiary

ARINC has formed a new subsidiary specializing in aircraft modification services, the company announced Monday.

ARINC named the new subsidiary ASES LLC, which will do business as ARINC Aerospace. ARINC said the new subsidiary will focus on modernizing, upgrading and maintaining military, government and commercial aircraft.

ARINC said the new subsidiary will assume most of the operations of ARINC’s former aerospace systems, engineering and support business unit. ARINC named Michael A. Young as vice president of the new subsidiary. Young was previously vice president of the former business unit for eight years.

“We have re-aligned our divisions to focus on our core capabilities within the marketplace, with the major focus on aircraft,“ Young said. “Our mission is to provide high quality, independent, and cost-effective aircraft modification and sustainment solutions to the aerospace industry.“
