Parsons Adds Canadian Consulting Firm to Environment, Infrastructure Unit

Parsons has acquired Canada-based environmental consulting firm O’Connor Associates for an undisclosed amount, Parsons announced Friday.

Parsons said it will integrate O’Connor Associates into Parsons’ environment and infrastructure business unit, which provides water, environmental and sustainable energy infrastructure to public and private sector clients.

Parsons said the purchase will improve its efforts in environmental site investigation and remediation.

“Because there is little overlap in our customer bases, this acquisition provides a framework to leverage both Parsons’ and O’Connor Associates’ talent and customer relationships into untapped geographies and/or service offerings.” said Parsons Chairman and CEO Chuck Harrington.

Parsons’ projects in Canada include a terminal development program at Lester B. Pearson International Airport in Toronto. Parsons said it has also supported nuclear plant services in Ontario and completion of a major highway in Quebec.
